DAQ Introduces New Portal to Support Our ICIDS Customers

To assist our ICIDS customers in maximizing the performance of their systems and sub-components, DAQ now offers a dedicated ICIDS information portal - an on-line database of downloadable files, including technical specifications, product information sheets, and system manuals. Due to the sensitive nature of our StarWatch security-related solutions, this database is a password protected area.

The ICIDS portal is a growing repository for information concerning the capabilities, operation, and configuration of StarWatch software and related equipment used within the ICIDS program. We hope that these documents and downloads become useful tools for our trusted security partners.

Program Description

DAQ has been a key supplier to the U.S. Army ICIDS (Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System) contract for more than 25 years. By definition, ICIDS is a highly secured, standardized intrusion detection system using state-of-the-art commercial technology. The system components consist of commercially available interior and exterior sensors, a Primary Monitor Console, Remote Status Monitors, Remote Area Data Collectors, Closed Circuit Television, and Entry Control Systems. The mission of the program is to provide the means to detect and assess as necessary, the unauthorized intrusion or attempted intrusions of protected areas.
